    • You exclusively operate your drone for sport, private and/or leisure purposes.


    You must:

    • Abide by the ‘Order of the Unmanned Aircraft Rules of Usage’
    • Have liability coverage 
    • Must maintain visual contact with the drone
    • Pay a fee to use the drone for photography purposes
    • All drones must be equipped with safety devices and auto-landing manoeuvres
    • A one-off fee has to be paid for any photography taken in Luxembourg airspace
    • Have an insurance


    You must not:

    • No flights above 50 meters
    • No flights over people, animals, railways or highways
    • No picture or video without the consent of the person concerned
    • No operation in the vicinity of airports
    • No operation in prohibited airspace (see here)
    • No operation without a mandatory insurance


  • If:

    • You operate your drone in the framework of dedicated aero clubs and/or associations.

     

    You must:

    • Abide by the ‘Order of the Unmanned Aircraft Rules of Usage’
    • Have liability coverage


    You must not:

    • Operate with only manual flight controls
    • Operate above crowds, industrial sites, urban areas, railways and other restricted areas or impede manned aircraft

    • A professional drone in connection with any business activity and/or in exchange for financial remuneration


    You must:

    • Pay a fee to use the drone for photography purposes


    You must not:

    • Operate with only manual flight controls
    • Impede manned aircraft or fly in restricted areas
