    • Not used for commercial purposes


    You must:

    • Have an insurance for drones weighing 7kg also recommended (but not compulsory) to have insurance for drones that weigh less than 7kg
    • Use the “Droneluftrum” mobile application to verify where you can and can not fly
    • Maintain visual contact with your drone
    • Register your drone online (if more than 250 grams)


    You must not:

    • Fly over 100 meters
    • Fly a drone weighing more than 7 kg
    • Fly closer than 150 meters to people and roads
    • Fly over people and take pictures
    • Impede manned aircraft
    • Fly in clouds or restricted areas
    • Endanger any persons or things when operated

    • Used for commercial purposes in relation with a business activity


    You must:

    • Only professional drone pilots are allowed to fly in populated areas (regardless of the size of the drone) 
    • Have a drone pilot license, a drone liability insurance and a drone license plate to fly over populated areas
    • Have an insurance for drones between 7kg and 25kg
    • Have prior authorisation from the Civil Aviation Authority to perform “high risk fly” (above 120 meters, BVLOS, above a large group of people, etc.)
    • Be older than 18


    You must not:

    • Fly over 100 meters away from you
