• If:

    • You operate your drone for sport or leisure purposes.

     

    You must:

    • Keep direct visual contact with the drone
    • Remain 100 m away from people
    • Remain 5 km away from airports
    • Respect no-fly zones (see here)
    • Have insurance (except drones below 500 gr)
    • Respect privacy of other people

     

    You must not:

    • Fly above gatherings of people
    • Fly Beyond Visual Line of Sight
    • Fly above 150 meters
    • Fly at night
    • Interfere with other aircraft

     

    For any activities outside of the limitations listed above special authorisation must be given by the CAA.  These activities are:

    • Flying a drone weighing more than 30kg
    • Flying above or closer than 100 meters gatherings of people
    • To fly Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS)
  • If:
